You need to talk with us! Our wifi application provides for a secure login requiring a username and password you provide. You then give that information to your customers and they can login and surf. Why secure? People can NOT sniff the wireless stream looking for phrases, specifically: login and passwd ( or any munge of those ). How do we do that? We use the HTTPS protocol which encrypts data at the user machine ( laptop, blackbery ... etc ) and decrypts the received data at the wifi application machine. Pretty standard stuff as you see it all of the time - most banks and webmail sites use this protocol as they don't want people listening in. You can see our wifi example site here !

Now for the bad news. Ya, you know don't you - there is always something bad isn't there? Those surfers sitting out front of your place stealing your wifi? They could be sending threating email to just about anybody. Guess who the authorities will contact? You! This probably will never happen but having the peace of mind that a secure wifi offers is worth it, don't you think? Remember that status page in the example? All wifi use is logged - computer names and MAC addresses along with date and time of access.
